Things have been kind of quiet over here, but I'm hoping to seriously work on getting my music edited and on my website, available to other pianists. But! I need some sightreaders to proof it first. Are you interested in being one of those? Sign up here: http://goo.gl/forms/UmkxgW9e80
We are on our final day. I pray that these songs have been a blessing to you and your piano studio. I saved best for last (at least, if most-advanced of the group is best). As a bonus, you can listen to this arrangement on YouTube. :)

When I Survey
I am so excited to be sharing six piano solos with you -- all about the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ! Every day this week (Monday-Saturday), I will be sharing an arrangement for you to download. There will be one of pretty much every level, so you are bound to find something for you, your child, or your student. And if you're not a pianist, please share this with a pianist friend!
Today, our first piece is for very beginners. There are two variations to download: one with the key signature Bb and, if you or your student doesn't play with key signatures yet, the same arrangement is available in the key of C with flats replacing the key signature.
At the Cross - key of Bb
At the Cross - with accidentals
A slow, reflective arrangement of the old hymn, "Blessed Assurance" arranged for the solo pianist, sprinkled with arpeggios and runs. Suitable for offertory.
I am in the final stages of editing Melodies to the Lord primer book! It is exciting to be one step closer to publishing!
Until then, enjoy a sample: "In the Beauty of Holiness" - the ninth song in the lesson book.
And for fun, here is the teacher's duet:
This week is my absolute favorite holiday: Thanksgiving! I believe that we are to be thankful every day of the year, but Thanksgiving is a special time to remind us to be thankful.
After two weeks of being away from music projects (because of Bible conference, a trip to Texas, and flu in the household), I have been more than ready to do something! So today, with thoughts of thanksgiving to my wonderful Savior, is a short intermediate arrangement of "Come, Ye Thankful People, Come."
